When I first set foot in the Scottish Capital

Today I found myself looking at some pictures of my journeys, I remembered every little second of my trip to Edinburgh last year... wait, was it last year? Actually, it was on February, this year. But it feels like ages ago. The first time I set foot on the Scottish capital I thought - Waw, could it be more beautiful?! Scotland has that WOW effect you love having when tripping, everything seems outstandingly beautiful. Yes, you could tell I love this city, hahah. I went there with a bunch of friends and we had a really good time, I took pictures of absolutely everything!

This lovely girl above is Adriana, a very good friend of mine. This pic is very special to me, it wasn't planned, just natural, plain natural. Of course it was in Edinburgh, on our way to Edinburgh Castle. That pic reminds me of such good moments, I miss you Adri, hope to see you soon! (yup, I had to say it, hahah)

Be Quintessentially Welcomed

ah! what a good feeling to write your very first post.
That said, let me introduce you to my new blog. I know, you're wondering who I am, my name as you may have already found out is Roger, I'm currently studying in London but I am from Venezuela, a pretty nice country on the northern coast of South America. For those of you who don't know it, we speak Spanish, we're a former Spanish colony. I know I know, now you're wondering why I had to make this clear, well, once a guy told me he thinks French is a lovely language just when I said that I am from Venezuela, I still can remember his face when I said: WHAT? We speak Spanish!, "I'm half-French though" - I said to make him feel better, hahah, which is actually true, I have French and Spanish heritage, most of us Venezuelans have European heritage, which I think it's awesome, you won't find a truly 100% Venezuelan, to be Venezuelan means to be mixed, half or full European plus native American, Cool! oh yeah, I'm proud to be a French Spanish Venezuelan!
For those of you who want to know, my name's pronounced differently in Spanish, it's not the English Roger, it is pronounced RO-her, but honestly no one calls me this way. I've heard my name pronounced in so many different ways I'm used to simply pay attention to the sounds O and ER, then I know that's my name, it's so funny how people from around the world have their own pronunciation for this name, it apparently comes from France, the French pronunciation is hilarious!
So, what will I be posting about? I generally post about anything and everything, bits about technology, culture, international affairs, music, international music, what's going on in my personal life, my adventures here in the UK, pretty much everything that comes to my mind really. Sometimes it is not very interesting, but others it's worth a read.
Remember, do leave a comment if you have something to say, any idea would be much appreciated, and if I made a mistake, please do tell me, that's why I opened this blog!!! ok, there's nothing left to say, have a nice day or night or whatever it is right now where you are, hahah :)
